Wanted to upgrade my Bodum teapot to a larger size and settled on this Bonjour teapot. A few thoughts:
I am able to get 40 oz of tea from this pot. There is a "max fill" decal on the outside of the teapot to show the level of which you shouldn't go over. The 2nd picture in the Amazon description shows the pot filled to the max level.
For aesthetic purposes you should not that the upper 1/3 of the teapot gets completely filled with condensation. The pictures included in the description must have been with cold water being used.
As a previous review also states, the sides of the teapot are flat, which provides a bit of a distinctive look.
Filled to the max, I find the teapot a little awkward to carry around. The handle is not quite balanced correctly.
Contrary to the product description, a bamboo base and tea scoop are NOT included.
I do like the sealing mechanism much better than the newer Bodum models.
Overall, a perfectly fine teapot. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from buying one, but then again, if it broke, I wouldn't feel the need to run out and replace it. I paid approximately $27 for it.

I really enjoy my new teapot. I used to just use the Celestial tea bags which were good. But using tealeaves is so mush better. It's like a special treat just for me! I love how tealeaves can be steeped a few times. The Bonjour teapot makes it easy to do, clean up is minimal. And duh, it's glass so you do have to be careful, but that just adds to the amibence of it all.
